A successful part starts with a well-designed mold. This complex and precise process determines part manufacturability and lifecycle costs, and it takes into account the key components of mold design while adhering to a part’s unique specifications.
Our injection mold making system is a proprietary process focused on achieving maximum efficiency in every phase of mold design, analysis, production, try-out, and injection molding production executed by a highly skilled team using state of the art equipment. This allows us to quickly convert 3D part data into high quality injection molded components in the resins our customers specify in volumes from dozens to hundreds of thousands.
As soon as the customer confirms the order of molds, our engineers will start to do an initial analysis of the parts to get an idea of the part line, gate positions, etc.
② Mold design and mold
flow analysis
The second step involves the use of predictive modeling software, which allows us to see how the molten material behaves as it enters the mold, allowing for further improvements to the design.
③ CNC machining
and EDM
From rough CNC machining to precision CNC machining, and then use our Charmilles EDM machine to process the mold surface.
④ Mold trial and T1
sample
When mold was finished, our workers will trial the mold and produce the T1 samples to send our customers for checking.
⑤ Improvement if
necessary
Based on our analysis of the T1 sample, we review the mold design and make any adjustments needed.
⑥ Mass production and shipment
According to the requirements of customers, mass production is carried out and transported to customers on time.
Tooling Materials Before injection molding process starts low or high-volume production, a high tolerance CNC machined tooling is needed. Most commonly used materials include:
Plastic Materials Plastic injection molding service comes with a wide range of materials with different properties, including impact strength, rigidity, thermal resistance, chemical resistance, etc.
Additives and Fibers Standard plastic materials may not meet custom injection molding parts requirement. In this case, additives and fibers can be added to improve aesthetic and functional properties, providing additional features for your injection molded parts.
Send us 3D/2D drawings or physical samples and provide specific requirements such as resin type, desired finish, and demand quantity. We will provide quotation within 24 hours.
2.DFM/Mold Design
Our Engineer team send you a DFM which meticulously analyze all the intricate details of your part design, ensuring optimal manufacturability and mold construction.
3.Mold Manufacturing
We will order high-quality steel and mold base. This will be followed by a series of precision machining steps such as CNC, EDM, wire-cut, milling, grinding, polishing, and finally assembly and mold fitting.
4.Mold Trial
We set up the mold for injection molding testing to verify its functionality and ensure the correctness of the resulting molded parts. All relevant data is meticulously recorded.
5.Trouble Shooting
During mold trials, we swiftly address and resolve any issues that arise through meticulous troubleshooting. Typically, 1-2 rounds of trial and modification are needed before the mold is ready for mass production.
6.Mass Production
we will send the test samples to customer for confirmation, and then prepare resin and quality acceptance documents, setting up molds for mass production to produce parts quickly to save time and cost.
7.Secondary Operation
After mass production, Will do secondary operations including logo printing, painting, plating, laser engraving, ultrasonic welding or assembly, etc at customer's request.
8.Package &Delivery
We will pack your goods to ensure that your products are well protected. In addition,we cooperate with logistics companies to deliver goods to your destination quickly and safely.

Alpine Mold offers a variety of surface finish options for plastic injection molds to enhance both aesthetics and functionality. Our selection includes:
SPI
SPI finishes are standardized classifications that provide a range of textures from smooth to matte. They are commonly used for achieving specific aesthetic and functional properties in molded parts.
VDI
VDI finishes offer a detailed texture scale and are often used in European markets. This standard allows for a variety of finishes that can enhance both the appearance and functionality of the molded product.
MoldTech
MoldTech textures are specialized surface finishes that enhance the appearance and tactile qualities of molded parts. They provide a wide array of options for customization to meet specific design requirements.
Yicksang
Yicksang finishes are known for their unique textures that can add visual interest and improve grip or usability. They cater to specific customer preferences for both aesthetic appeal and functionality.
Laser Texture
Laser texture finishing uses advanced technology to create precise and intricate patterns on mold surfaces. This method allows for high customization and can produce complex designs that are difficult to achieve with traditional methods.
