1. Material Specification:
Some covers needed PC material.
The outer shell and inner parts were required to be made from durable, high-impact plastics resistant to heat, moisture, and UV radiation.

Some plastic housings required silk screen printing as secondary operations.
A high-quality appearance was essential to match the overall aesthetic of the fire alarm.

1. PC Material for Lens and Inner Part
The lens and one inner part were made from PC (polycarbonate) material—well known for being wear-resistant, scratch-resistant, and offering excellent light transmission.The finished lens had 85%–90% transparency, and the printed inner part featured a hardened surface with a beautiful finish.The client was very impressed with the clarity and durability, giving us strong positive feedback.

2. Flame-Retardant ABS for Other Parts
We recommended flame-retardant ABS, which is:
Heat resistant
Impact resistant
Tough
Self-extinguishing (it stops burning when the fire source is removed)
This choice helped ensure the fire siren housing would not ignite, melt, or spread flames in case of fire.

3. Silk Screen Printing for Top Cover & Inner Part
Silk screen printing was applied on both the top cover and one inner part.This method was ideal for adding the client’s logo and other branding elements.For the initial order of 5,000 pcs, silk screen printing was more cost-effective than other secondary operations.
